What: This beautiful leaf bangle is handmade from bomb casings recovered from the war in Cambodia in the 1970s. Depth 2.4cm, width 7.3cm (bends to fit most wrists).
How: Ironworks artisans skillfully mould bomb casings into jewellery - melting down the metal, cutting it to shape and polishing it.
Who: This bangle was made by Clem and Chantha in their mini home workshops. The range is exclusively available in the UK through Eighteen Rabbit thanks to a new partnership we have developed with Craftworks Cambodia, who work with disabled and impoverished artisans affected by war, poverty and HIV/AIDS.
Why: Buying this bangle helps to cement a new trading partnership between Britain and Cambodia benefiting people affected by war and poverty.
