Tea in February...
Hello!It's already February already-we have lots going on this month at Eighteen Rabbit, and time is already slipping away.So,without more ado-
We are introducing Nuditea-it's lovely! Nuditea is the creation of Josh and Sophie and is a collection of excellent whole-leaf tea blends, loose or in plastic-free tea bags.
All ingredients are ethically sourced from trusted smallholders; the tea is sustainably packaged, and the business is local. There is a fabulous range of teas, some of which I have tried and others I happily anticipate: ) I could write at length about this because I find the whole tea topic fascinating (my first love is coffee. Next up-I am off to the Spring Fair at the NEC next week; it will be the second time -last year, I was pretty overwhelmed and wandered around like the proverbial child in the sweetshop. This year it will be good to go with more of an understanding and the opportunity to meet some of our lovely suppliers. A number of the exhibitors are BAFFTS members, and there is a sustainability trail.
Then it is Valentine's day, and we have a small selection of Valentine's .chocolate for some lucky people. Mainly bars, in the usual unique Zotter creations, and Hearts (dairy) and Flowers (vegan). Also great for Mother's Day.
The 27th of February brings us to Fairtrade Fortnight. This year's theme is food and so.....
We are holding a coffee morning on 9th March from 10-1 pm in the shop, so please keep the date free; watch this space, and I will keep you posted! There will be coffee, tea and cold drinks available -Fairtrade or very similar, and homemade cakes with fair trade ingredients.
